Wintertime Art Camp (Ages 6–8): Artwork & Ecology

In this combined media course, get inspiration from artists on perspective who adore nature and want to secure the surroundings. You will sculpt, paint, and draw with artist Beatriz Jaramillo.
This system will acquire location indoors on LACMA’s campus, Monday–Friday, January 2–6.
About the Instructor
Beatriz Jaramillo’s work addresses the landscape as metaphor and modality, highlighting the tensions produced by the synthetic separation between character and tradition, and, in the procedure, inviting the viewer to rethink their fractured connection with character. Beatriz examined Fine Arts in her native Colombia, and, in Los Angeles, she gained an MA in Art Instruction and an MFA in Studio Artwork with emphasis in Sculpture/Ceramics. With her function, the artist integrates artwork, science, and technological innovation with neighborhood participation, in buy to encourage significant dialogues about environmental issues. Her artwork has been exhibited in several galleries and museums in the United states and Colombia. She also has served as a training artist at LACMA and the Norton Simon Museum, as perfectly as a school member at Cal Point out College, as a Ceramic Instructor.

Pre-registration is needed for all courses. Enrollment for Wintertime Artwork Camp starts on November 16, 2022, at 10 am PST.
