Wild Factors Are Taking place: The Art of Maurice Sendak opens to the community on Friday, October 21 and is on look at right until March 5, 2023.

Wild Items Are Occurring: The Artwork of Maurice Sendak will be the 1st important retrospective of Sendak considering the fact that his loss of life in 2012, and the greatest and most complete exhibition of just one of the most celebrated and primary artists of our time. The exhibition is organized by the Columbus Museum of Artwork in conjunction with The Maurice Sendak Basis.
The exhibition is comprised of much more than 150 sketches, storyboards, and paintings by Sendak drawn from the selection of The Maurice Sendak Foundation. Highlights involve primary work for Sendak’s most well-known publications: The place the Wild Points Are, In the Night Kitchen area, and Outside the house About There. Sendak was influenced by writers ranging from William Shakespeare to Herman Melville.
