Two violinists, a viola player and a cellist from Initial Baptist Church of Jackson performed for 68 inmates Tuesday at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility.
“Music is a language that anyone from any place, any technique, anyone can recognize mainly because it is the elegance that God gave us,” cellist Sarah Beth Mullen explained a information release Thursday from the Mississippi Section of Corrections.
Beth Masters, the department’s director of the women’s prison seminary, arranged the concert, which took put in the prison chapel.
