KANSAS City, Mo. — Followers of the hit Netflix show “Stranger Things” will have something else to obsess around when ready as the cast films Period 5.
Netflix commissioned a huge crop circle which is found somewhere in an Indiana cornfield.
The art attributes Eddie Munson, performed by Joseph Quinn. The crop art depicts Eddie throwing up satan horns though wearing his Hellfire Club shirt. It included the concept “Eddie Munson 4 Ever.”
The creation is by artist Stan Herd of Lawrence, Kansas.
Herd stated his artwork director and son helped with the venture. It took them about 10 days to produce.
“We worked with some excellent locals and an amazing farm few,” Herd explained. “We are psyched to see that twitter just arrived at 600 thousand hits since 8 this early morning.”
Herd has labored to create all sorts of unforgettable crop art across the region.
In the Kansas Town place, his functions consist of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden in a area close to Lawrence, NASA Astronaut Stephanie Wilson and John Lewis in Atlanta, and even a tribute to the Condition of Kansas in 2005.
Herd also paints murals, as perfectly as with oils and other mediums.
Netflix and “Stranger Things” tweeted a tribute video to Munson, including the crop circle set to Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” Wednesday afternoon.
Munson played the music as he worked to fight Vecna’s demobats and save his friends.
The Duffer Brothers have confirmed “Stranger Things” will return for Time 5, but it might not be obtainable to stream until eventually late 2024 or early 2025.
