Portrait Artist of the Year (Series 9) starts 5th October 2022

I’m guaranteed a lot of of you will be delighted to hear that Collection 9 of Portrait Artist of the Calendar year (#PAOTY) starts on our screens – on the Sky Arts Channel (Channel 11 on Freeview) following week!

When to Check out

The first episode will be broadcast on Wednesday 5th Oct – when the celeb sitters will be Elizabeth Working day, Khadija Mellah and Nick Grimshaw.

The Sky Tv hyperlink says the broadcast time is 3pm(!) – but I am guessing either that’s a error or it will have repeat broadcast instances.

This is adopted by 6 far more heats – every single Wednesday up right up until 16th November – giving us a overall of seven artists for the semi-finals. I wonder if they’re going to have a wildcard. I’ve generally considered that it’s a terrific pity when a heat as two wonderful artists but only just one can go via…..

Then 

• the Semi Finals are on 23rd November
• The Finals are on 30th November
• The Fee Programme is on 7th December
