Film shot in the Rockford area gets local red carpet premiere

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) ─ Thursday night AMC Showplace 16 in Rockford hosted a purple carpet premiere for “The Blacklight.” It is described as thriller criminal offense movie, with a supernatural twist.

Several of the film’s scenes were shot in the Rockford location.

“I believe they will be genuinely amazed. They’ll be astonished at the story, at the performances, the areas, the all round high-quality of the film,” explained “The Blacklight” Executive Producer, Don Hatton.
